P.L. 107-56 of 26 October 2001 (45 days after 9/11). Expanded FISA surveillance, Section 215 business-records orders, National Security Letters, Section 206 roving wiretaps, Section 213 sneak-and-peek warrants; Title III anti-money-laundering; removal of pre-9/11 intelligence/criminal FISA wall. Sunsetting provisions extended repeatedly; partially reformed by USA FREEDOM Act 2015.
