Acuerdo Interconfederal para la Estabilidad del Empleo 7 April 1997 between CEOE-CEPYME and CCOO-UGT, implemented via Royal Decree-Law 8/1997 and 9/1997 and Law 63/1997. Created new 'Contrato para el Fomento de la Contratación Indefinida' with lower severance (33 days/year vs 45) to convert temporary workers. First major tripartite labour accord of post-transition period.
